Autodesk offers two levels of certification for industry professionals – Associate and Professional. Certification is currently available for these products:

Autodesk Certified User Program for Entry Level Job Skills

Career and technical education programs across the United States equip students with marketable 2D and 3D design skills by teaching them to use state-of-the-art Autodesk® design software. Autodesk Certified User certification confirms students have the skills necessary to continue their design careers—whether they attend college, enter the workforce or work toward additional levels of industry certification after graduation.
AutoCAD® Certified User and Autodesk Inventor® Certified User certifications include both academic and industry requirements in attainable certifications designed for job entry level skills in both students and professionals.

Getting Certified

To earn Certification you need to pass an Autodesk Certification Exam, or a series of exams, and follow some simple steps:

Step 1. Choose the certification that is right for you.
Select your desired certification program, level and product. Certification is available for many Autodesk applications. Download and read the Exam Preparation Roadmap to learn what to expect.

Step 2. Assess your readiness.
Locate an Autodesk Certification Center and purchase an assessment test to measure your knowledge of the application and identify areas for further study and preparation.

Step 3. Get the training you need and practice your skills.

Take a course at an ATC and/or purchase an Autodesk Official Training Guide to prepare. Be sure to practice using the software, as direct experience using the application is critical to your success.

Step 4. Take the required exam.

Purchase and schedule your exam at an Autodesk Certification Center.
